| One of the motifs used to highlight the Brunei
Museums’s logo is an old Brunei coinage called Pitis.
Other emblems include: |

- The crest used during the reign of Sultan Abdul Momin
(1852 – 1885) A.D.
- Royal umbrella and other Royal state insignia.
- The wing (Sayap) of four feathers, symbolised
the responsibility of the State, to protect the
tranquility, justice, prosperity and peace.
- Floral designs commonly used on cultural heritage of
Brunei such as daun lukut, bunga cengkeh, akar (root),
daun setampek, bunga paip and bunga keramunting.
The emblem is circumscribed by a circle with 32
lines. The
word ‘Muzium Brunei’ that is written in Jawi
is found at the top of the logo whereas the roman script
is at the bottom.
