ART GALLERY

 

 INTRODUCTION

 Providing services, promote and educate the public about art heritage through the Art Gallery is one of the main objectives. Various arts manifestation form a part of an integral aspect of life. Apart from enchancing life, art can provide one with worthwhile experience via the collection and documentation that is going to be used for education, production and promotion. Natural talents, organised trainings and the wide opportunities enable the artists to perform their works of art extensively.

 AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

 1        Nuture, promote and strengthen the National Cultural Policy, by means of arts        activities in implementing and upholding the state philosophy Malay Islamic         Monarchy.

 2        Provides the local artists with an exhibition area at a specified time for their       works of art.

 3        To facilitate interactions among the local artists in promoting art activities.

 4        To improve the quality and standard of arts in the country as a preparation for        participation in the regional and international level.

 ACTIVITIES

·         Organises exhibitions, either by this gallery or individuals, arts associations, government or private agencies and education institutions.

·         Organises seminars, workshops, symposium or talks.

·         Art exhibitions and sale.
